The patrons and support staff attending the 2008 Wachovia Championship recycled 24 tons of plastic and aluminum during the week-long PGA TOUR event at Quail Hollow Club. The Wachovia Championship is one of just a few events on the TOUR schedule that provides recycle containers and signs to remind patrons to help recycle throughout the golf course. This has been a practice of the Wachovia Championship the past three years.
