Wachovia Championship Daily Tickets Sell Out

Limited Number of Weekly Ticket Books Still Available

CHARLOTTE N.C., April 21, 2004 – Daily tickets have sold out for the second Wachovia Championship at Quail Hollow Club, tournament officials announced today. Limited numbers of weekly ticket books and hospitality packages are still available.

  “Ticket sales have been phenomenal this year,” says Kym Hougham, tournament director. “We were hoping to build on the success of last year’s inaugural event, but the response has been more than we could have ever asked for.”

The Wachovia Championship will make its second appearance at Quail Hollow Club, May 3-9. The tournament has already received commitments from last year’s winner David Toms, as well as Phil Mickelson, K.J. Choi, Shaun Micheel, Davis Love III, Nick Price, Jay Haas, Justin Leonard, Lee Janzen, Sergio Garcia, Steve Lowery, Rich Beem, Vijay Singh, Ben Curtis and Chris DiMarco.

A limited number of weekly ticket books are still available and are priced at $120. A number of hospitality opportunities also remain.
