Going, going, going....Sunday daily tickets sold out for the 2005 Wachovia Championship

Limited number of Thursday tickets and weekly ticket books still available

CHARLOTTE N.C., April 4, 2005 – If you want tickets to the 2005 Wachovia Championship, you better hurry.

Tournament officials announced today that Sunday daily tickets have sold out, leaving only a limited number of weekly ticket packages and Thursday daily tickets available for the PGA TOUR event May 2-8 at Quail Hollow Club. Friday and Saturday daily tickets are also sold out.

Remaining ticket options include daily tickets for Thursday ($30 each) and the Monday-Wednesday Practice Pack ($25 for three days).

A limited number of weekly ticket books are also available for $130 each. Weekly ticket books provide admission to all seven days of the tournament (one ticket per day), including the days (currently Friday, Saturday and Sunday) for which daily tickets are sold out.

Also, weekly ticket books allow family members, friends and business associates to share the cost of the event because the same person does not have to use all of the tickets.

The general public may purchase weekly ticket books, the Practice Pack or remaining Thursday daily tickets by visiting www.wachoviachampionship.com or by calling (800) 945-0777.

“We couldn’t be more pleased with this year’s ticket sales,” said Wachovia Championship Tournament Director Kym Hougham. “To be this close to a sell-out this far in advance of the tournament is a testament to our fans and their support of our tournament and the PGA TOUR.”
