Wachovia Championship Offers Mulligan Ticket Program

Available for Sold-out Tournament May 1-7

CHARLOTTE N.C., April 21, 2006 – Tickets have sold out for the fourth Wachovia Championship May 1-7 at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, but fans that missed out on buying tickets still have chance to see some of the PGA TOUR’s best compete for one of the largest purses on the PGA TOUR.

Wachovia Championship officials today announced they are offering a Mulligan ticket program again this year. In golf, a Mulligan is known as a “do over.” The Wachovia Championship’s Mulligan ticket program allows fans that purchased daily ground tickets but can’t spend the entire day at Quail Hollow to donate them back to the tournament for another patron to use for the remainder of the day. This is the only PGA TOUR event to offer this program.

The Mulligan tickets will then be sold for $10, with all the proceeds benefiting a local charity, which has not yet been determined.

The Mulligan tickets will be available for purchase starting at noon each day at the Will Call locations.

“We’re pleased to offer the Mulligan program once again at the Wachovia Championship,” says Kym Hougham, tournament director. “We think this will make this highly successful event even more accessible to fans, while benefiting a local charity at the same time.”

Mulligan tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and only valid for the remainder of the day issued. All Mulligan tickets are ground access only. Supplies of tickets are limited. For more information, please call the ticket office at 800-945-0777.
