Wachovia Championship to Donate Mulligan Ticket Program Proceeds to PGA TOUR Wives Association
CHARLOTTE N.C. April 28, 2008 - Proceeds from this year's Mulligan Ticket Program will be donated to the PGA TOUR Wives Association which supports numerous charities throughout the world.
The Wachovia Championship's Mulligan ticket program allows fans that purchased daily grounds tickets to donate them back to the tournament if they cannot spend the entire day at Quail Hollow Club.
The Mulligan tickets will be available for purchase starting at noon each day at the Will Call locations—Monday through Sunday at Symphony Park (SouthPark Area); Monday through Friday at Carowinds/Fiesta Plaza Carolinas; Saturday and Sunday at Ballantyne Corporate Park.
The Mulligan tickets will then be sold for just $10, with all the proceeds benefiting the PGA TOUR Wives Association
This is the only PGA TOUR event to offer this program. Also, patrons are reminded that for the sixth straight year, the Wachovia Championship offers free admission to children 12 years old and younger when accompanied by a ticketed adult. The limit is one child per ticketed adult.
Mulligan tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and only valid for the remainder of the day issued. All Mulligan tickets are ground access only. Supplies of tickets are limited. For more information, please call the ticket office, 800-945-0777.
Proceeds from the 2008 Wachovia Championship will benefit the tournament's primary charity Teach For America, a national education foundation that provides a corps of outstanding recent college graduates of all academic majors who commit to teach for two years in underserved urban and rural public schools. In five years, the Wachovia Championship has donated $7.5 million to charities.
