With its leaner green and aggressive new shape, the eighth hole presents a much greater challenge to players than last year. Nearly 2000 square feet have been lopped off the green—and although the length of the hole is the same—the angle of approach, severity of the second shot, and putting surface are quite different. Players will again have the opportunity to drive the green or play a short wedge from a sloped fairway.
