Now that the ninth hole has grown almost 20 yards, it has become not only the longest par four at Quail Hollow—but arguably the toughest. The extra yardage brings a bunker on the right more into play, and tee shots landing on the upslope will force players into a long-iron or fairway wood for their second shot. While not extremely undulating, the medium-sized green has plenty of movement and many hole placement options—but players should be wary of a bunker on the left and a tree on the right.
