The Wachovia Championship cannot operate without volunteers. More than a golf tournament, the 2008 Wachovia Championship is one of the premier stops on the PGA TOUR, placing a national and international spotlight on Charlotte and the Carolinas.

Our goal is to have the best corps of volunteers of any PGA TOUR event. We need dedicated, dependable, helpful, flexible, and most of all friendly volunteers. Come be a part of the team.

New Volunteers

Thank you for your interest in Volunteer Opportunities for the 2009 Wachovia Championship. Please complete the online 2009 Volunteers Wait List Application to be placed on our Wait List for next year's tournament. You will receive an email in early December informing you of next steps.

Benefits

Volunteers working their required shifts will receive the Ambassador Benefits Package, worth $450 which includes:

• Polo brand golf shirt
• Polo brand jacket
• Choice of an official tournament cap, visor, or straw hat
• Ambassador Badge grants grounds access and free parking each day of the tournament
• Breakfast and lunch for each shift worked
• $10 food voucher towards lunch for shift worked
• Two grounds tickets for use any one day of the tournament
• Invitation for you and a guest to the Ambassador Appreciation Party

Requirements

• Work at least two full days or four half day shifts
• Have a valid email address—email is used to communicate with our Ambassadors
• Purchase your own Ambassador Uniform – at wholesale cost – for $80
• Must be at least 16 years of age by April 28, 2008
