Admissions
This Committee is currently full.
Volunteers on this committee are stationed at the Quail Hollow entrance gates to check and punch tickets for all patrons coming into the tournament. This is a fun, customer service oriented role where a pleasant personality is the only prerequisite. Other responsibilities include:
- Work alongside security personnel
- Assist patrons with directions and answering questions
This committee works closely with the Greeters and Information Services committees. Volunteers are needed Monday through Sunday. Volunteers are asked to work at least one full day on a Tournament Day—Thursday through Sunday.

They're the first faces you'll see upon arrival at the Wachovia Championship, the ones who will guide you through the gates and on to the elegant rolling greens of Quail Hollow. Our "Admissions Ambassadors" are volunteers who are charged with more than just punching tickets-they're also tasked with making sure your experience at the Wachovia Championship begins with a warm, welcoming smile at the door.
Judy Forrest, a Wachovia employee and Admissions Team co-chair, is not only ready to greet you at the door, she's looking forward to it. "I can't wait to see the first arrivals and their excitement at being able to have an international experience right here in our own back yard!" she said. "Then I can't wait to see the Admission Team members spring into action."
Judy is equally as enthusiastic about being involved with the first Wachovia Championship. "Having the PGA back in Charlotte after all this time is a wonderful opportunity for Wachovia, the Charlotte area, and for the Carolinas. We have wonderful people and a beautiful climate," Judy adds. "Being part of a world-wide event just doesn't come along every day. Volunteering allows me to be a small part of something that will endure and enhance the lifestyle of everyone it touches."
