Greeters
This Committee is currently full.
Greeters have one of the most fun and exciting jobs offered to the volunteers. This committee has the unique opportunity to meet and greet each person attending the event. Greeters are essentially one of the first contacts our patrons will have with the tournament. People who have outgoing personalities and enjoy customer service are outstanding greeters. Greeter responsibilities include:
- Welcome patrons at the parking lots and the main entrance
- Provide patrons with pairings, tournament guidelines, and logistical information
- Answer patron questions before they start their day
Volunteers are needed Monday through Sunday. There are two shifts per day to staff with volunteers and one of those shifts must be on a Tournament Day—Thursday through Sunday.

When you hop on the shuttle headed for the Wachovia Championship, you'll be welcomed with enthusiasm by our Mobile Greeters. Part tournament office representative, part tour guide, these volunteers can give you the latest pairings, tournament guidelines, and other helpful information while your shuttle makes its way to Quail Hollow.
Bryan Paschal, Mobile Greeter co-chair, is ready to assist patrons in any way he can. He's spent hours working with other committee chairs, including fellow Mobile Greeter co-chair Tracy Wilson, to prepare for the transportation of up to 30,000 people per day and up to 100,000 people over the course of the week. Although the hours are long-Bryan started at 4:00am the first day, and left after 11:00pm that night-he is glad to have the opportunity to help out.
"Providing excellent customer service is the most important role for me as co-chair of the Mobile Greeters," he said. "I chose to volunteer...to make the golf tournament an enjoyable and first-class experience for all patrons, sponsors, and the other Mobile Greeter Ambassadors...[and to] give back to the community and contribute to make this inaugural event the best PGA tour event."
Be sure to say hello to Bryan and other Mobile Greeters on your shuttle ride to and from the Wachovia Championship.
