David Toms withdraws from the Wachovia Championship

David Toms, winner of the inaugural Wachovia Championship in 2003, withdrew Monday citing personal reasons. Toms also withdrew before the start of the event last year.

Ranked 19th in the world, Toms' withdrawal leaves the tournament with 28 of the top 30 players in the world. Tim Clark, Ben Crane, Angel Cabrera and Hank Kuehne have also withdrawn.

They have been replaced by Craig Kanada, Charlie Wi, Jason Dufner, Cameron Beckman and George McNeill.
